Nutrition Goals

STRATEGY & goal

In our nutrition strategy preface, the Center for Holistic Health highlights a compelling contrast: despite Thailand's food diversity, many follow a monotonous diet. To ensure lasting impact post-project completion, we prioritize sustainable project management. Integration of sustainability into planning, considering ecological, economic, and social aspects, is key. Early involvement of children emphasizes nutrition through self-cultivation of plants, promoting awareness of simple, high-energy foods from healthy soil. We set an example by transforming refrigerators into gardens, encouraging a daily practice of balancing health and energy.

FOOD DIVERSITY

In our nutrition strategy preface, the Center for Holistic Health highlights a compelling contrast: despite Thailand's food diversity, many follow a monotonous diet. While over 20,000 edible plant species exist globally, our diet relies heavily on just three grains. Only 12 plant and 5 animal foods contribute to 75% of our consumed calories, reflecting a lack of utilization of the diverse food options available.

CHALLENGES

Despite diverse food options, Thais consume insufficient fruits and vegetables, especially children who indulge in excess sweets and unhealthy foods. The dietary strategy reveals overconsumption symptoms in a globalized food system, leading to unhealthy malnutrition. Our aim is to transform these habits.

engagements

Promoting daily physical activity as a vital routine for participants, essential for a well-functioning metabolism and muscle strength. Young recruits serve as trainers, encouraging children to enjoy sports.

Dietary Change

Emphasizing the importance of dietary change to replace unhealthy habits with healthier ones, promoting weight loss, well-being, and efficiency.

PERSONALIZED NUTRITION

Highlighting the need for a personalized diet change that aligns with individual preferences. No rigid calorie counting or fixed menu plans, focusing on personalization.

NATURE-CENTRIC EDUCATION

Nature-Centric Education: Participants in our center learn to sow, care for, and harvest herbs, plants, fruits, and vegetables in nature. This knowledge fosters a habit of preparing healthy foods for oneself and family.

EARLY DEVELOPMENT

Emphasize the importance of instilling positive attitudes toward plants, nature, and food from an early age. Regular interaction with children fosters a different and more sustainable relationship with food.

sustainable practices

Young ones learn in crop production, emphasizing nature connection and food understanding. Trainees study natural cultivation, reducing food wastage and promoting healthy nutrition. Guided by the Gaia concept, the project highlights the interconnectedness of man and nature.

Culinary Exploration

Experience the richness of Thai cuisine with fragrant curries, hot spices, and exotic ingredients not commonly found in developed countries. Our center introduces this fine culinary experience to children, offering a supervised and playful learning environment.
